Steen 650 - Machine for Skinning Chicken

A very well cared for machine, used daily until it was replaced in August 2024 due to growth in business operations.

Viewings Welcome. Contact Office on 01666744027 or info@commercialmachineryauctions.com to arrange.

Item Location Barry, CF63 2XA. Loading Available.

The STEEN ST 650 machine is a machine for the automatic skinning of chickens at the breast and at the back.

  1. Two different skinning units are separating the skin of the breast and the skin of the back from the chicken.
  2. A inlet conveyor is carrying the chickens to the machine.
  3. They fall into the machine, the position of the chicken is determined by guiding panels and a small internal conveyor.
  4. The chicken is presented in the suitable position to the first skinning unit. The skin is grabbed by the tooth roll and a knife is separating the skin of the breast from the chicken.
  5. The skin is guided to an outlet conveyor which brings it outside the machine.
  6. The chicken is pulled downwards by the toothed roll, the exerted force will displace an internal oscillating frame with the internal conveyor and open the way to the second skinning unit.
  7. The tooth roll of the second unit will then grab the chicken and the knife will separate the skin of the back from the meat.
  8. The skin and the chicken are guided to outlet conveyors.
